Torque Arms & Components
Torque arm components for standard floor chassis setups, covering the parts used to build or rebuild a torque arm and quickchange mounting system.
This range includes slider rods and aluminium slider plates that make up the sliding mechanism of the torque arm, rubber biscuit assemblies that cushion the arm's mounting point, and rubber bushings in different durometer ratings for tuning how much flex is in the system. There's also a complete adjustable torque arm kit for a standard 10" quickchange, which bundles the components together for a full setup.
Choose individual components like the slider rod, slider plate or bushings if you're replacing worn parts on an existing torque arm, or go with the complete kit if you're building the whole assembly from scratch.
Frequently asked questions
What does the rubber biscuit do?
It's a rubber cushion at the torque arm's mounting point that absorbs shock and allows a small amount of controlled movement.
What's the difference between the bushings on offer?
Bushings are rated by durometer, which is a measure of rubber hardness, so a lower durometer bushing will flex more while a higher rating gives a firmer, stiffer feel.
Should I buy the complete kit or individual parts?
If you're replacing a single worn part like the slider rod or a bushing, buy that part on its own. If you're building a torque arm from scratch for a standard 10" quickchange, the complete adjustable kit covers the full setup.
